Aptitudes of Double Skin Façade Toward Green Building within Built Environment

نویسندگان

چکیده

To obtain optimal efficacy toward energy saving in buildings, numerous approaches have been persistently developed and innovated. Double Skin Façade (DSF), one of the keys to efficiency thermal enhancement, is increasingly drawing attention from designers researchers speculating its benefits. Nowadays, there are still some doubts about performance DSF as it provides pros cons. Therefore, this review a deep understanding composition performance, startling gaps among green building within built environment. The research studies present evidence potential various applications with proper design scheme. However, location climatic conditions most important factors consider when comes designing for envelopes. Otherwise, system not only mandates higher investment cost on double structuring but also demand consumption. findings additionally indicate that has left uncertainties positive impact extensive tropical climate, since inadequate conducted, such lighting, heat transfer ventilation, etc. Accordingly, requires more rigorous investigation be profoundly employed.

Measuring The Quality Of Natural Lighting In A Building With Double Skin Façade (Dsf)

Lately, a double skin façade (DSF) has been increasingly popular as an aesthetic and shading device. A façade with a secondary skin is employed in buildings to let natural light flow into the building without glare and heat. The purpose of this study is to examine the performance of secondary skin in buildings and to investigate the level of natural lighting in buildings that meets visual comfo...
